About
This quintessential boy next door may have risen to fame with the hit web series ‘Permanent Roommates’ in 2014, but Sumeet Vyas has spent close to 18 years in the industry acting in plays, advertisements, TV shows and also as a writer of web-based films like ‘Love Per Square Foot’ and ‘Bang Baaja Baaraat’.
He made his Bollywood debut in the movie ‘English Vinglish’ in 2012 and has subsequently acted in movies like ‘Guddu Ki Gun’, ‘Parched’, ‘Aurangzeb’, ‘Ribbon’ and Sonam-Kareena starrer ‘Veere Di Wedding’.
He starred in a web campaign by BigRock in 2017 and apart from acting in films and television programmes, Vyas also appears in theatre productions in India.
The poster-boy for every other web series out there, Sumeet has also starred in various other web shows including ‘TVF Tripling’, ‘Born Free’, and ‘Official CEOgiri’.
Known for his spontaneity & straight-faced humor, in 2017, he got the opportunity to host ‘Stupid Man Smart Phone’, the adapted version of BBC Worldwide's award-winning reality show that pits man against machine.
